Pindare--an Area of Sacrifice and Love (Week 63)

Hello Family and Friends!

It has been two weeks since I have been able to use a computer so we have a bunch to catch y'all up!

Two weeks ago we had five baptisms and seven confirmations. Tate and Kassio (mom and sonj), and Natale, Nathalia, Heloysa (Sisters)  were baptized; Franciellyson and  Edilson were also confirmed as they were baptized a week ago.
That was a lot of fun having a sacrament meeting with seven confirmations!

We had one baptisms this week of Cleiton. His brother was baptized a couple weeks ago by the Sisters.

So I was transferred!
My new companion is Elder Druziani from Parana. It's close to São Paulo.

I am now the zone leader in a new area called Pindare. The church hasn't been formed here yet. There isn't even a branch. We have a group of about 30 people that meet every Sunday! This last Sunday I presided in the meeting, lead the music, sang the music, and blessed the Sacrament. My companion conducted and did an excellent job for his first time.

It is a huge privilege to be one of the first missionaries in an area. The members here are living on a huge level of the law of consecration. It is incredible to watch them work. Especially the newest members taking on huge responsibilities. We are forming a lunch calendar for the missionaries. We will need to baptize more to fill up the calendar haha.
There is a special spirit here that I love. It is difficult to describe. Its a spirit of sacrifice and love.

Here is the new zone
Elder Hillam - ATL, Georgia
Elder Druziani - Parana Brasil
Sister Molina - Peru
Sister Dias - Cuiaba Brasil
Sister Wicks - Oregon
Sister Benites - Cuiaba Brasil
Elder Palmer - Utah
Elder Mower - Utah
Elder Garcia - Brasil
Elder Pimentel - Rio Grande do Sul

We also had a Division with Elder Palmer and Elder Mower this week. They are in an area called Bacabal. It is two hours from where we live. We picked up a taxi to take us there. It was an awesome road-trip. Super beautiful, farmland, palm trees, blue rivers and lakes and ponds, horse and cows. Super Super cool
There is so much to talk about but little time to share!

So thankful to be serving the saints here. We weren't able to watch General Conference but we will download the talks and listed to them throughout the week.

Have a great week!!
Love You all!!
